Structural Integration

What is It?

Structural Integration (SI) is a holistic approach by specialized practitioners. It enhances overall biomechanical functioning through soft-tissue manipulation and sensorimotor education. Instead of targeting symptoms, SI focuses on achieving ideal posture and movement, benefiting the body as a whole.

What are the Benefits?

• Chronic pain reduction for foot, knee, hip, back, shoulder, and neck health. Proper treatment and management can improve quality of life.

  • Enhance your bio-mechanic function by improving range of motion and connection to movement practices like yoga, running, weightlifting, swimming, and daily activities. Strengthening these areas can lead to better performance, reduced risk of injury, and increased overall well-being.
  • Decreased symptoms in musculoskeletal conditions like Scoliosis, TMJ, Frozen Shoulder, Peripheral Neuropathies, Fibromyalgia, and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Improved self-awareness, self-esteem, and enhanced physical and emotional resilience and adaptability contribute to personal growth.

Who is it for?

Structural integration offers benefits for all individuals, regardless of their lifestyle. Sedentary office workers, active athletes, and those experiencing aging effects can all be impacted by tight, short, and thickened fascia due to different factors. When chronic pain, discomfort, fatigue, and stiffness occur, they may lead to depression and anxiety. Aligning the body can alleviate these issues, improving overall well-being.

Taking care of your body should be a top priority. Massage therapy is an excellent way to do just that.
